The topic of ethics is not a cut and dry, or clearly defined area of study.  While there are some clear cut expectations of the addictions counselor, there are just as many areas that remain ambiguous.  This course will assist in identifying your expectations, personal values and definition of ethics as they apply to your role as an addictions counselor.

Prior knowledge includes program Leadership in HIV, Substance use disorders environment of care management, grants development/management, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization preparation.
