Men's Issues in Recovery

This workshop will focus on the unique needs of men as they recover from addiction. These needs are often assumed to be met in recovery programs, but frequently are not explicitly addressed. We will take a holistic overview of the issues in men’s lives and look at the critical areas of mental health, sexual abuse, trauma, physical well-being and relationships. These key elements in the lives of men, if understood and addressed will create a more complete treatment intervention, and therefore, a more balanced recovery.
