The focus of this workshop is to examine the treatment of this group from a historical perspective, defines the focus of screening and assessment and its subsequent translation into appropriate diagnostic (DSM). I n addiction, it offers insight into treatment philosophies and methodologies intended to improve clinical outcomes.

Ms. Ouimette has over 30 years of clinical experience in the following: child and family counseling, crisis counseling, substance abuse counseling, MICA, grief counseling, eating disorders, couples, crisis pregnancy, HIV prevention, gambling addiction, vocational assessment, crisis intervention and suicide.
