Clinical Methods and Recovery Concepts

There exists an important relationship between clinical methods utilized by clinicians in the delivery of therapeutic services, self-help ideology and practice used by the patient in self-help and recovery. This training examines the detail and importance of each as a separate entity and how, when combined, these two factors influence the quality of patient care and outcome character.  This training will examine the detail and importance of clinical versatility, secure self-help and fellowship, and professionalism and objectivity. Several clinical methods will be covered.

Credentials: MS, CASAC
Bio: Frank Pouliot, M.S., CASAC is the Professional Development Coordinator at Conifer Park in Glenville, New York. He has a Masters in Human Services Administration and is a credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselor (CASAC). He has 22 years experience directing clinical programs in the field of mental health and addiction services and over eight years experience as a professional development trainer and facilitator of on-line and classroom curriculums. He is an adjunct professor at Schenectady County Community College, the College of St Rose, Empire State College and the University of Phoenix.  He is also a faculty member of the NYS OASAS Academy of Addiction Studies. Frank has two wonderful children pursuing their professional careers and he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
