Transitional Living for Women

Vista House for Women

ACCA’s Vista House is a safe, supervised, transitional living program for women or women with children.  Vista House provides shelter and care for 17 women and up to 10 children (ages birth -10).

With help from individual and family counseling, education and employment training programs, women live in a healthy environment and maintain an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle, while keeping their families intact.  The program is centered around a family treatment model and provides counseling for children whose lives have been affected by addiction or who are at-risk.  Life-skills training is emphasized so that residents have the ability and confidence to secure and maintain employment and continue on the path of recovery within the community.  Residents receive assistance connecting to and obtaining community services, finding permanent housing, childcare and family reunification services.
